Artist Statement
Art entered my life in a difficult season, but a high school art teacher who introduced me to geometric drawing opened a doorway into quiet focus and inner stillness. As I filled pages with interlocking shapes and patterns, I began to sense that geometry could be a form of meditation rather than just an exercise in design.
As an adult I explored many mediums, yet everything came into alignment when I discovered the bindu, one of the sixty‑four sacred arts of Sanātana Dharma. The bindu, as a point of origin and pure potential, now anchors my work and my spiritual practice and is the foundation of what I describe as heart‑opening art. Through bindu‑based compositions, the five elements, and luminous color fields—expressed in both digital and painted form—I invite viewers into a contemplative space where energy, form, and consciousness meet. My intention is that each piece functions as a subtle healing tool: a visual mantra that supports grounding, opening the heart center, and inner balance.
